On the weekend of September 22nd and 23rd, I went to our annual "Quilting in the Garden" at Alden Lane Nursery in my hometown, Livermore, CA.  It is a wonderful time of year, when they hang quilts that quilters enter to show their quilts to the public.  Alden Lane hangs them on lines strung around the old oak trees.  It is a site to see, and I look forward to it every year.  This year is the first time I entered a quilt.
